You will need: 

  • 1 bag of Mochi Cake Mix
  • Muffin tray
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1/4 cup oil of your choice
  • 2 eggs (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl until you get a thick batter.
  3. Spoon evenly into a lightly greased muffin tray.
  4. Bake 18-22 minutes (x12 regular muffin tray) or 15-17 minutes (x24 mini muffin tray)
  5. Cool, remove with a spatula, enjoy the dense chewy goodness of Mochi!

Mochi Cake mix

I absolutely loved this mix. Made cupcakes as suggested, and they came out perfect. Soft and chewy, great chocolate flavour. (I did not make the matcha one yet) Also made a caramel out of coconut cream to go with them. YUMMY!
